You will find below information regarding your first week at Cambridge.
You will receive, by email, a welcome letter detailing your set and how to access the online timetables. Please check your @cam email account.
The documents below make up the Freshers Pack, which you must read carefully and print off as necessary.
Student Device Specification
The Department of Veterinary Medicine has issued minimum specification guidelines for laptops that relates to the materials it provides:
- Windows: 7, 8, and 10 on 64-bit platforms
- macOS: OS X 10.14 and higher
- CPUs newer than 2011 (Intel Sandy Bridge or newer)
- 10 MBs of disk space
- Web camera and microphone (internal or external)
- A broadband internet connection (0.15Mbps upload speed)
Note: Inspera Exam Portal does not run on Google Chromebooks, virtual machines, machines
running Linux, tablets, or mobile phones.
Occupational Health Information
Individual Occupational Health appointments will be running from the middle of Michaelmas term, these are compulsory. Occupational Health with contact you regarding this appointment.

It is extremely important that you attend your Occupational Health Appointment, if you realise that your scheduled appointment clashes with a timetabled session then please contact the Occupational Health Service to rearrange, otherwise this appointment should take priority over other society/college commitments, including supervisions.
Signing of the Veterinary Student Register Agreement
This is printed at the end of the handbook, please sign it and return it to the Vet School tutorial office by Friday 14th October 2022.

These occur at various times over the two days, (please see your timetable for your allocated slot)
NB, if you are unable to attend your slot due to college commitment please attend at an alternative convenient time over the two days (4th October 10:00-17:00, 5th October 10:00-13:00)
