Student Representatives

Faculty Board of Biology (FBB)

The Faculty Board of Biology held an election for its three Student Representatives on Tuesday 21 and Wednesday 22  November 2018.  Their role is to communicate the views of the student body to the Faculty on a wide range of issues.

The elected Faculty Reps for 2019 are:

Category I - Graduate students in the Faculty of Biology: Ethan Dutcher
Duties involve attending meetings of the Faculty Board of Biology, meetings of the Graduate Student and Postdoc Forum (GRASP) and representing student views and interests on these committees.

 

Category II - MVST students (including first and second year CGC students): James Zhang
Duties involve attending termly meetings of the Faculty Board of Biology, the MVST Part I Committee, the Medical Education Committee and representing student views and interests on these committees.

If you have feedback on one of your Med/VetST courses you can also share this through the MedST or VetST Student Course Representatives.

 

Category III - NST and PBS undergraduates assigned to the Faculty of Biology: Victoria Chris
Duties involve attending termly meetings of the Faculty Board of Biology, the Biological Sciences Committee, twice termly meetings of the NST Committee of Management and representing student views and interests on these committees.

Council of the School of the Biological Sciences (CSBS) positions:

The Council of the School of the Biological Sciences held an election for its two Student Representatives in November 2018:

Graduate students in the School of the Biological Sciences - Emma Carpenter

Undergraduate students in the School of the Biological Sciences - James Zhang

Both CSBS Reps are invited to attend the twice-termly meetings of the Council of the School of the Biological Sciences to communicate the student perspective.
