Student Representatives

Faculty Board of Biology (FBB)

The Faculty Board of Biology held an election for three different student rep positions on Tuesday 25 November 2014.  Their role is to communicate the views of the student body to the Faculty on a wide range of issues.

The elected Faculty Reps for 2015 are:

Category I - Graduate students in the Faculty of Biology: Alexander Patto

Duties involve attending meetings of the Faculty Board of Biology and meetings of the Graduate Student and Postdoc Forum and representing student views and interests on these committees.

Category II - MVST students (including first and second year CGC students): Daniel Hurt

Duties involve attending termly meetings of the Faculty Board of Biology, the MVST Part I Committee and the Medical Education Committee and representing student views and interests on these committees.

Category III - NST and PBS undergraduates assigned to the Faculty of Biology: Emily Wilkins

Duties involve attending termly meetings of the Faculty Board of Biology, the Biological Sciences Committee and twice termly meetings of the NST Committee of Management and representing student views and interests on these committees.

 

Council of the School of the Biological Sciences (CSBS) positions:

The two Student Representative positions within the Council of the School of the Biological Sciences have been filled.  Both representatives were elected unopposed:

Graduate students in the School of the Biological Sciences - Miss Samyyia Ashraf

Undergraduate students in the School of the Biological Sciences - Mr Matthew Johnston

Both CSBS Reps are invited to attend the twice-termly meetings of the Council of the School of the Biological Sciences to communicate the student perspective.
